The hotel has been run by the Aalders family for more than 50 years and is said to be one of the last family-owned hotels left in Amsterdam. Our friendly reception staff will be glad to help you with information about the city, restaurant reservations and organizing transportation to the airport. In our bar there is a computer with internet access, which guests can use for free. By Car:
- From the A10 ring road, take the S108 Amstelveense Weg exit.
- Follow the S108 road towards the city centre until Van Baerlestraat.
- Turn left into Van Baerlestraat.
- When passing by Museum Square (it will be on your right), turn into the 2nd street to the right for the hotel.
Parking:
- Please keep in mind that the hotel does not have private parking. There are several secured car parks in the direct area with approximately the same rate as on the street parking - both options are quite expensive.
- Park and ride (P+R) parking near Olympic Stadium (some 3 km from the hotel) is a good, safe and cheap alternative with convenient tram connection to the city. The hotel's reception staff will be glad to give you more information on your arrival.
By Train/Tram (from Schiphol Airport):
- From the airport, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station and from there, just outside the station, take tram numbers 2 or 5 and get off at Hobbemastraat.
- Take a Connexxion hotel shuttle bus from the Schiphol Plaza (main square of the airport). It departs every 30 minutes and takes you directly to the hotel in about 40 minutes. No reservation is needed.
- You can also take a taxi, which is the fastest and most comfortable way to get to the hotel (15-20 minutes journey time).
