L'hotel Abadia és un edifici del s. XVI reformat recentment i amb uns elements extraordinaris. El pati està construït amb l'empedrat típic de Granada i té una font central, columnes i passamans de fusta treballats de manera artesana.
Per a la restauració de l'hotel s'han utilitzat molts materials tradicionals, com ara ceràmica, fusta, porcellana, argila, teixits àrabs, empedrat granadí, fanals natzarens i un gran nombre de detalls que atorguen un ambient únic a l'hotel. Les habitacions són confortables i estan ben decorades amb mobiliari de fusta, terres d'argila, catifes orientals i altres detalls d'artesania.
